There’s no “right” way to be a writer. You find your way as you work on your craft, send your words out into the world and receive feedback from your readers.
I went the MFA route. I’ve worked with literary journals, and I’ve also written for trade magazines, newspapers, documentaries, corporate clients, and I ghostwrote a book about the history of diplomacy in Iran. In recent years, I’ve been a book and newspaper editor, and I currently run a magazine.
At the end of the day, whether you’re writing creative nonfiction, lifestyle articles or the story of your life–if you’ve ever put words on a page, then you’re a writer. Own it! 🙂
I’m here to help you build confidence in your work and move you forward on your writing journey.
